Here are just a few examples of some of the amazing ways you have helped...
The Thanet Male Voice Choir who raised £900 at a concert they held at St Mary's Church in Sandwich in December 2009.
All the volunteers who braved the cold to help sell our Christmas Bells at local supermarkets throughout Thanet during November and December, raising over £3,000 and more money for bells still to come.
Carol, Victor and members of the Butterfly Group in Thanet who raised £500 from a Christmas Bazaar.
The Thanet Concert Band recently put on a concert and raised £325. They also played their hearts out at the Pilgrims Hospices Thanet Summer Fayre and got quite a soaking in the process!
John Kaites, owner of the Greek Taverna in Margate and long-time supporter of Pilgrims Hospices staged a wonderful "Taste of Greece" evening that was supported by over 80 local supporters and raised a staggering £1200.
MARA (Margate active retirement association ) raised £250 at their recent social evening.
Jack Harris took part in his 15th bike ride for Pilgrims Hospices at 82-years-young, adding to the £9,000 total that he has raised so far.
Alan Welcome and Pat Jarman spent thirteen hours kayaking the 36 miles around the Isle of Thanet. To sponsor them go to their fundraising pages.
Boys and Maughn raised £2000 at their recent golf day on 4th June at Princes Golf Club.
Also thanks to Birchington Horticultural Society who raised £189.46 at a summer stall.
Also Silent Gliss Ltd who gave up an hour of their pay and Silent Gliss match funded to a total of £1800.
Sheep Dog Trials at Bishopsbourne raised over £800 - that you to the countless people who made it possible!
A huge thank you to a group friends who arranged a Garden Fete in Broadstairs. There was a raffle, homemade cakes, nearly new stall, bric-a-brac, cream teas, games for all ages and live music. Over 200 friends & neighbours joined in the fun raising a staggering £858.31.
Thank you to Dave Barrow who during his year as the captain of St Augustines Golf Club, Pegwell Bay, is arranging a series of tournaments and events with proceeds going to Pilgrims Hospices. His first tournament raised just over £400.00.
