We are committed to providing dedicated support to our patients and their carers. We currently employ over 310 full and part time staff in a variety of professional disciplines, but we are frequently looking for additional professional, talented and motivated people to join our team.

Our hospices offer modern, friendly, pleasant and highly professional working environments with sites in beautiful and well-populated areas of east Kent, with very good road and rail networks.

Our main hospice sites are in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet.

All new staff receive a comprehensive induction programme and valuable opportunities for professional development and training. Depending on the post, we offer flexible working opportunities, access to hot meals, parking, Childcare vouchers and staff counselling support.

Nurses

We offer our nurses generous annual leave entitlements plus bank holidays, free uniforms, badges, clean changing areas and shower facilities on each site. In addition, the opportunity to stay in the NHS Pension Scheme, subject to the scheme rules at the time, or to join a Stakeholder Pension Scheme with employer's contributions. We have high nursing to patient ratios, champion a multi-professional working ethos, provide Clinical Supervision and all staff have access to our education department with specialist library facilities. Continuing professional development is supported and encouraged as quality of our services are of paramount importance to us.
