Schools
Schools are very special to Pilgrims Hospices. We like to work with all shapes and sizes, from nurseries and primary schools to secondary and specialist schools. We enjoy hearing all about your fundraising and are here to help, offer ideas and provide fundraising materials.
There are lots of ways to get involved with Pilgrims Hospices and fundraising is just one of them. The support local schools give to us is very important and in return we want to support you as a community partner working together to help and maximise opportunities for both organisations. By adopting Pilgrims Hospices as your chosen charity you are guaranteed a close working partnership with a local charity which may also be able to support the educational, social and welfare aims of your school. If you have an idea and you think the hospices can help, get in touch! We would love to hear from you!
We have a dedicated member of the fundraising team who is able to visit your school to meet with teachers to discuss ideas or to talk to school council members and charity reps. Take a look at our Fundraising A to Z for inspiration or encourage the children to come up with their own fundraising ideas!
Once you have decided on your event, let us know. We have a range of fundraising materials from balloons and posters to collecting tins and t-shirts which can be supplied on request.
If you would like to adopt Pilgrims Hospices, book a school talk, need fundraising materials or you just want to tell us about the great fundraising you are doing, please contact us 01227 782062.
Please tell us about your fundraising and email your photos. We like to acknowledge the support of local schools in our newsletter or on our website (only with permission of course!)
