On 27th March at 7.30pm Canterbury's Kmfm special breakfast presenter Neil Redding is presenting a special fashion show this spring in aid of Pilgrims Hospices.  It's at the Chaucer Technology School in, the appropriately named, Spring Lane Canterbury and will showcase some of the utterly fabulous clothes that are donated regularly in our shops and how it's possible to find top quality designer label clothes, shoes and bags at bargain prices.  The show is called Spring into Summer as it coincides with the night we change the clocks to summertime. We have a professional model in charge of our catwalk, along with ladies who range in age from 17 to 75.  Julian Brazier MP and Cllr. This will be once again will be held at Prince's Golf Club in Sandwich, final qualifying course for next year's Open Championship.The day will follow their tried, tested and ever popular 27 hole format, utilising all 3 of Prince's 9 hole courses, with coffee & bacon rolls on arrival, 9 morning holes followed by lunch and a further 18 holes in the afternoon.Events will be topped off by a sumptuous dinner, charity raffle & auction in aid of Pilgrims Hospices.Please email Robin Evans for further details and an entry pack. The seventh mixed triples tournament in the Chislet Colliery Bowling year. Tournament from 09.30 till 5pm, and awards presentation 5pm till 5.30pm. A long standing event that has raised £7,000 for Pilgrims Hospices and aims to raise a further £1,000 this year.

It's that time of year again.  Come along to one of the best fetes in the area.  Lots of stalls including the bottle tombola, cake stall, barbeque, grand raffle and lots more. 

A great fun day with lots of carts.  The Derby will start opposite the Walnut Tree Pub and finish will be at the corner of Pattison Farm Close.  All entries must raise a minimum of £30 sponsorship. Drivers must be 16 and over and drivers under 18 must have written permission from parent or guardian.  Starts at 11 am unitl 6pm.
