Support Pilgrims Hospices at Kent's largest village fete.

Do you fancy a bit of exercise with an opportunity to do some fundraising?  If so, why not come along to the Rotary Ramble/Run?  You can come on your own, with friends or part of a team representing your Company, School, Club.  You can either run of justa amble along.  There's a choice of a 5 or 10 mile course, almost entirely off-road, well route-marked and over a mix of the lovely countryside around Wye.   Starting from Wye Village Hall.  Ramblers can start at anytime between 8am and 11am, but the runners will be set off at just after 8am and 11am, but the runners will be set off at just after 8am on their 5 mile course.   You can enter by dontaing £10 to our Charity Fund (£5 for under 18's) or you can be sponsored and if you wish, half of what you raise goes to a charity of your choice.

Come and join the 32nd Postling Charity Horse Ride.  Starting at Page Farm, Postling, Hythe CT21 4EX.  The ride will be approximately 9 miles long and will include 26 fixed obstacles.  All obstacles are optional and any or all may be omitted.  The route will be clearly marked.  Initial donation to be sent with entry form, riders 18 and over £12 riders under 18 £6.  For entry forms please send SAE to Jane Reynolds, The Pent, Postling, Hythe, Kent  CT21 4EY.

Carrying on the Pilgrims' tradition of walking at night time, the 2010 Moonlight walks offer ladies and girls (over the age of 12) the chance to step out together, remember someone special, have lots of fun and raise money for a very worthy cause. A champagne reception on the Camponile Lawn (or inside if a wet evening). Black tie.  Three Course dinner, auction and 45 minutes of magic by Etienne Pradier.  Tables of 10. £55 per person. 

Enjoy a run, stroll, walk along the cliff top and promenade from the Oval Bandstand to Palm Bay and back.Be daring and wear something yellow for the day - the more imaginative the better! Suitable for all ages and abilities. Entry Fee: £5.00 per person in advance or £7.00 on the day.

Following on from our very successful Paws for Pilgrims dog ramble last year we are organising a ramble over the beautiful Brockhill Country Park.  All dogs are welcome. Lots of other attractions.  Full details to follow.

Our usual coffee morning combined with a Fashion Show.  A good selection of top quality doanted clothes.  Held on the first Wednesday of each month, with stalls and a raffle.

The Givaudan 10k race is happening again this year and you can raise money for Pilgrims Hospices through sponsorship.  There is the 10k race which starts at 10am and a fun run for under 15's which start and 11.30.  Entry for the 10k is £17 on the day and the fun run £3.  You can go to their website www.quest.10k.co.uk

A 5k walk through open woodland. Dogs welcome.Birds of prey, Childrens activities, including build a bear. Raffle & many other prizes. Dog Show. Barbecue.Entry £5 per person, children under 5 go free.

Entice Hair and Beauty are holding an Open Day with sponsored events and live music.  1pm til 3pm More details to follow. 

Quiz in Ashford.  Raising funds for Pilgrims Hospices. More details to follow nearer the time. Martin Tolhurst Solicitors will be attending to offer free legal advice relevant to end of life care. 

Get your team ready and come and join us in the 10th anniversay year, to help smash the Kent record for the largest charity wine and wisdom evening ever staged in Ashford.  £60 for a table , which seats eight and includes a ploughman's meal complimentary glass of wine.  Tickets can be booked from www.kmbigquiz.co.uk 50% of proceeds to Pilgrims Hospices.  Martin Tolhurst will be entering a number of teams. 

Come along and enjoy the many varieties of apples and other fruits.  Lots of local produce on sale from local producers all in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. From Saturday 16th October to Sunday 17th October.

Join the stars on the red carpet from 5pm to enjoy a celebratory drink prior to the film starting at 6.30.Then afterwards canopies at 20.45.Tickets £25.00

There will be film making workshops and screening of independant movies at the Pavilion in Broadstairs on 25th,26th & 27th October. Red Carpet awards night. Meet the stars of films for the International Awards Dinner at the Pavilion Broadstairs on the 28th October.  You will be welcomed with a drink on the red carpet at 17.00. The evening will also include a three course meal and coffee.Evening dress preferred. Tickets can be purchased for both nights.

Coffee morning held on the first Wednesday of each month, with stalls and a raffle.  This will be our Christmas Fayre with all the usual stalls and Father Christmas.

Meet Father Christmas at our regular Coffee morning held on the first Wednesday of each month. Also includes stalls and a raffle. Raffle to be drawn at the DECEMBER meeting.
