Pilgrims Hospices nurses and healthcare assistants bring a wealth of expert nursing knowledge, experience, and skills which aim to ensure that the care our patioents and families receive is as personalised as possible.

All of our nurses are truly committed to the interests of our patients and their families and work ofr the hospice because of their keen interest in providing specialist palliative nursing care whether this is at home, as an in-patient or through our day hospice.

Our nursing teams are supported by medical secretaries and ward clerks in the in-patient unit. The latter are usually the first people that a patient, a relative or a professional encounters.

They are also a resource for the teams, patients and families aiding communication, taking and receiving information and giving support to the caller.
